Information about the position: Because we are both an academic and a level 1 trauma center, you will never be bored as an anesthesia practitioner at Amsterdam UMC. You can work with us at two locations (AMC and VUmc) with a wide variety of procedures. Together with the anesthesiologist, you are responsible for administering and maintaining anesthesia during complex academic procedures in various specialties and patient age groups. Additionally, you play a major role in the resuscitation and trauma team at the Emergency Department (ED). Together, we form a close-knit team delivering topnotch care.

• As an anesthesia practitioner at Amsterdam UMC, there is always something to learn by attending additional training and participating in various working groups within our department. Additionally, you can progress to Sedation Practice Specialist or senior anesthesia practitioner within the department.
• In addition to highly complex care, we have a day center with many patients requiring low or moderate complex care. We offer you all the possibilities.
