EIT Urban Mobility ( EIT Urban Mobility - largest community for urban mobility innovation ) is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe"s largest
network for transport innovation in cities.
Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance and knowledge.
Must-have:
- Bachelor"s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical accounting, management accounting, project accounting, financial reporting, or a similar accounting-focused role.
- Proven experience managing multiple cost centres, projects, or complex analytical accounting structures.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial close processes, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Ability to identify accounting issues, financial risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Experience working in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders, entities, projects, or international environments.
- Experience using Power BI for financial reporting and dashboard development, while also possessing strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (C1 level or above), both written and spoken.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with EU-funded projects and grant accounting.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP or similar ERP systems
