Yours Tasks:
As part of ILL’s strategic Digital Twin (DT) project, you will contribute to the development of a simulation tool that digitally replicates raw data from all ILL instruments
Qualifications / Experience:
- PhD in physics with strong experience in computing science and neutron scattering
- Solid experience in Python or C++ (Fortran a plus) and good software development practices (e.g. versioning with Git)
- Solid understanding of neutron scattering processes
- Solid experience with Monte Carlo ray tracing packages (McStas)
- You must have a sound knowledge of English and be willing to learn French (a language course will be paid for by the ILL)
