What You’ll Do:
As a consultant, you will balance clinical work and leadership responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care for forensic psychiatric patients with complex treatment pathways.
- Co-manage the outpatient clinic alongside an experienced head nurse.
- Collaborate with senior consultants across regional forensic psychiatry to optimise treatment before discharge and to strategize future hospitalisations.
- Participate in cross-disciplinary initiatives with general psychiatry teams throughout the region to create cohesive care pathways for patients.
Professional and personal qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with:
- Forensic psychiatric expertise, including experience in the Security Department or forensic psychiatric wards, is an advantage but not required.
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, both internally and with external partners.
- A medical specialist recognition in Psychiatry, preferably from an EU country due to the Danish authorisation process.
