Job position
Would you like to be part of a project where you play a central role? Then this is the job for you. You will be responsible for:
- Defining a DevOps architecture in collaboration with our Development team
- Deploying and scaling a Kubernetes infrastructure hosted on site
- Supporting the use of this infrastructure by ensuring that developers learn to use it properly and follow good practice (particularly in terms of security)
- Supporting deployments and assisting the Development team
- Technology watch on tools and latest trends in DevOps and DevSecOps.
- You will join the Infrastructure team within the ILL’s IT Service and, in the framework of your duties, you will work particularly closely with the Development team. You will therefore be involved in the day-to-day work of both teams.
Qualifications / Experience
- You have a Level 7 qualification (Master’s degree or equivalent).
- Before DevOps became mainstream, you were an experienced sysadmin or developer.
- You have extensive experience in building and managing a Kubernetes infrastructure, or other similar experience.
- You have a sound knowledge of CI/CD, containerisation and scripting.
- Good knowledge of Gitlab and Ansible would be appreciated.
- You are capable of formalising and documenting your work.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience.
- You are a proactive self-starter and a passionate advocate of the DevOps culture.
- You must be fluent in written and spoken French and English
