Requirements and expectations

  • You are willing to learn Danish and motivated to learn our approach to ways of working in the Elderly and Health Sector
  • You have experience within elderly and healthcare
  • You have good interpersonal skills
  • You are responsible, caring and resilient
  • You can work both independently and in teams
  • You are good at getting on with all kinds of citizens and have an approach that acknowledges people
  • You are good at English
  • You must be a citizen of an EU/EEA country, Switzerland or a Nordic country
  • You must present a criminal record

Conditions:

  • Salary and terms of employment
  • Working hours are 37 hours per week or by appointment. Your net salary at the time of hiring
  • will be approx. 2050 EUR/month, plus paid vacation.
  • Before you arrive in Denmark, you must acquire basic Danish language skills via an online language course. We start language courses twice a year; next time in April 2023.
  • After moving to Denmark, you will complete an intensive Danish course during the first three months of your stay.

  • We must have received your application no later than 20.01.2023.
  • We hold ongoing interviews (online) in November, December, and January. All applicants who continue through the process are offered a visit to Lolland Municipality in March 2023
