EXPERIENCED MEAT PROCESSOR OPERATIVES

  • Company: Dawn Meats.
  • Number of positions: 210.
  • Multiple locations throughout Ireland.

Rol description:

  • The succesful candidates will work as part of the factory processing team producing meat to fulfill production targets on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Meet production targets.
  • Work a shift schedule.
  • Will be required to work across all areas of the meat processing plant.
  • Physical role including lifting and standing.
  • Using fork lift equipment for picking and packing orders and goods.
  • Working in a chilled and ambient environment.
  • Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
  • Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards. Being adaptable and flexible ¡n your approach to work.
  • Training in English language skills, company operating procedures and subsidised canteen.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Experience Required: 1 year.
  • The successful applicants must have a B1-B2 level of English.
  • Applicants must be entitled of the Free Movement Right regarding to employment in the European Union.

Working Conditions:

  • Position Type: Permanent.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Minimum Annual Remuneration: 30,000 euros.
  • Successful candidates will need to be able to work a shift pattern of days and evenings on a bi-weekly rotation.
  • Benefits offered to employees travelling from overseas: Assistance with flights- if employee stays with the business 3 months, they will reimburse cost of flight up to euros300 (proof of purchase needed).
