Dawn Meats is a beef and lamb processing company are looking to recruit General Operatives to join the team across a number of our production facilities across Ireland.
No of positions: 300 Multiple locations across Ireland.
Role description:
Successful candidates will be required to work in the factory where you will be required to:
- Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Meet production targets.
- Work a shift schedule.
- Will be required to work across all areas of the meat processing plant.
- Physical role including lifting and standing.
- Using fork lift equipment for picking and packing orders and goods.
- Working in a chilled and ambient environment.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
- Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards. Being adaptable and flexible in your awork.
The ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum Experience Required (Years): 1.
- B1-B2 level of English.
- Minimum Qualification: No Qualification.
- In order to work in Ireland a non-EEA National, unless they are exempted, must hold a valid employment permit.
Working conditions:
- Position Type: Permanent.
- 40 hours per week.
- 30,000 euros annually.
- Payment is on a weekly basis.
- Successful candidates will need to be able to work a shift pattern of days and evenings on a bi weekly rotation.

- Assistance with flights - if employee stays with the business 3 months, they will reimburse cost of flight up to euros200 (one way & proof of purchase needed).
- Assistance in searching for suitable accommodation.
- A refundable deposit for accommodation in the amount of one month"s rent is payable to the owners of the rental property (and the possibility of repaying the deposit in agreed instalments).
- Rent per person ranges from 80-100euros / week / person. Compliance with the accommodation notice period is a necessity
