Healthcare Assistants to work with Irish Nursing Homes throughout Ireland
Job description:
- Aim to provide an environment which is home from home for all our Residents.
- To support nursing staff and care team in the delivery of care to the residents of the Nursing Home.
General Responsibilities:
- Supporting the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residents.
- Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident’s dignity at all times.
- Support and assist residents during meal times.
- Assist and encourage residents with mobility.
- Assist with activities when required.
- Perform any other appropriate duties as designated by the CNM’s Care manager and Nursing Staff.
Applicant Requirements:
- Education: Ideally Healthcare qualified (Care Skills and Care of the Elderly). Applicants currently studying towards this qualification will also be considered
- Experience in care of the elderly would be highly desirable but not essential
- English level: intermediate
Working conditions:
- Permanent contract
- Fulltime position
