Job description: We are looking for you who have experience from working independently in a smaller kitchen. You will be 1-3 chefs working per day.
It is necessary that you are both structured and can handle the stress that comes with working alone on the less busy days.
We serve café food, pizza and à la carte for lunch and dinner.
Tasks:
- This position makes you work in the heart of the hotel. The service level are always high, both when you work directly with guests, answer mails or telephone. Your main focus is always personal service and being available for guests.
- In addition to normal working tasks, you have to have knowledgde about Vesterålen, and especially the beautiful Hadsel island. Vesterålen is known as ”Hiker’s Paradise”, and you should be interested in hiking and outdoor activities. We will see that you get the chance to have necessary information and are able to get to know the area.
- On most of the shifts, you are the main worker both in reception, cafe and restaurant. In addition, you must be able to ”easy” cooking when the chef is not available.
- We prefer workers who have worked with tourism before. However, personal qualities are the most important factor.
- Fluent in English
Working hours and place of work:
- However if you are the right person, there might be a possibility for a permanent position
Day, evening and night shifts
- Wages per hour between NOK 195,71 and NOK 222,40 depending on qualifications
