Requirements

Proven experience as a Software Developer or similar role.
Proven experience as a Software Tester, conducting unit, component, integration, system, and/or user-acceptance tests.
Fluency in common programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, C#) and frameworks/systems (e.g., NodeJS-based frameworks, VisualStudio, Eclipse).
Experience with software container solutions (preferably with Docker).
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
Familiarity with source code management systems (preferably with GitHub/GitLab).
Experience with some of the most commonly-used databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra) and frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Desirable:

Experience as full stack developer.
Experience with DevSecOps and/or CI/CD environments (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins).
Familiarity with Software Design Patterns.
Experience with test automation (e.g., Junit, Pytest, Selenium).
Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions development and/or analytical tools such as TensorFlow, Torch, and PyTorch.
Proven experience in research projects of the European Commission research and innovation programmes, preferably in security research projects

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

BSc/BA in Computer Science or another relevant field.
Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English.
C1 Effective Operational Proficiency certification in English language (or higher).
Certification(s) in programming language(s) and/or other software development related matters.
Certification(s) in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
Other certification(s) in the IT field (e.g., ITIL, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Microsoft, Oracle).
Certification in Project Management (e.g., SCRUM, PMP).
