The key tasks of a Mechanical Engineering lecturer include, among others:

  • Teaching and guidance related to the mechanical engineering and mechatronics in English, as well as the planning and development of teaching. Courses are conducted through both face-to-face and online instruction.
  • Supervising thesis projects.
  • Participating in research, development, and innovation activities, as well as business activities serving higher education and the working life.
  • National and international network collaboration.

Requirements for the role of Mechanical Engineering Lecturer:

  • A relevant higher education degree
  • At least 3 years of work experience in the field
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to work in digital environments and utilize them in teaching
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive approach to development in the field
  • Understanding of the future trends in the working life

Additionally, we expect expertise in one or more of the following technologies related to teaching:

  1. Manufacturing technology (machining, edge-cutting, welding, chip removal techniques, sheet metal work, casting basics)
  2. Material technology
  3. 3D modeling and technical drawing
  4. Machine automation systems and industrial robotics
  5. Strength of materials
  6. Mechanics
  7. Machine part design
