Job requirements:
- Certification: Typically requires an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL), issued by aviation
- regulatory bodies such as FAA (for the U.S.) or EASA (for Europe).
- Previous experience on Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 aircraft is required, even on just one of these models.
- The company offers the possibility of specific internal training on only one of the two aircraft.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulics, engines).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify even minor issues that could impact aircraft safety.
- Problem Solving: Quick and efficient troubleshooting to resolve issues under time pressure.
- Physical Fitness: The job can be physically demanding, requiring engineers to work outdoors, in tight , spaces, and on their feet for long periods.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and during inclement weather.
