Your tasks:
You will be responsible for organising and monitoring the in-house manufacture of mechanical parts designed by the Service’s designers.
Your profile:
- You have a Level 4/5 qualification (A levels, HNC, advanced apprenticeship or equivalent) in mechanics
- You should be familiar with production mechanics and electrical engineering.
- You should also have excellent skills in industrial design and technical drawing, as well as the spatial ability to visualise the part to be manufactured (by looking at cross-sections and section views).
- You have experience in use of conventional machine tools and CNC machining, as well as in use of metrology equipment, power tools and test benches.
- You have no difficulty reading plans, diagrams and drawings.
- Sound knowledge of written and spoken French is required. Knowledge of spoken English is desirable.
- You must be organised, open, resourceful and meticulous in your work, as well as a good listener. You thrive on teamwork and must be able to demonstrate a high degree of adaptability.
