Qualifications / Experience

• PhD in physics, chemistry or material sciences, or equivalent qualification together with an experience in neutron and/or X-ray magnetic scattering techniques.

• Practical skills in single crystal diffraction, an expertise in magnetic crystallography and knowledge of the group theory are essential for the post.
• Knowledge of polarized neutron scattering and programming languages (C++, Python, Fortran...)

• knowledge of English and be willing to learn French (a language course will be paid for by the ILL
