Service Housekeeping Kitchen
Requirements:
- Minimum age 18 years
- Minimum availability of 2-3 months to work in Germany
- Basic knowledge of German
- EU-/EFTA-Citizenship
Peculiarities of Seasonal Work:
- Shifts are the rule, also at weekends
- 40-48 working hours / week
- You’ll run around a lot during shift
- Stress! Especially on sunny weekends, when many day tourists arrive
- Tip: through good service you can increase your salary substantially
Money Matters:
- Minimum wage: 12.00 euros gross per hour
- Many companies pay more
- Taxes and social insurances are deducted from gross salary (up to 35%)
- Most companies offer accommodation for reasonable payment
- Many companies offer food during the shifts, sometimes for payment, sometimes for free
- Some employers offer additional benefits (e.g. pick up service at airport, water sports equipment...)
